5.1 Political Revolution  

Tsue to Tsubasa (杖と翼)

The story began at the eve of the French Revolution, when Léon, the “wild and transgressive” young man moved to the countryside to stay with a family friend with his mother. There he met the little energetic Adele and her mother, a very charming lady and both of whom became Léon’s inspiration for his future role in the forthcoming revolution. The beautiful Adele grew up believing that she would end up marrying Léon, not knowing that her “childhood first love” had already turned to become the cruel and ice-hearted Saint-Just, famously nicknamed the “Arcángel of the Terror” whom played a significant role in delivering the condemnation and execution of King Louis XVI of France….

Eikou no Napoleon (栄光のナポレオン – エロイカ)

(From Baka-Updates) “The Glory of Napoleon – Heroic”, a sequel to “The Rose of Versailles”, tells the story of Napoleon’s empire, including the Thermidorian Reaction, the Italian Campaign, the Egyptian Campaign, the Battle of the Nile, the coup of 18 Brumaire, and the French invasion of Russia. It also includes some characters from the manga The Rose of Versailles like Alain de Soissons, Bernard Chatelet and Rosalie Lamorlière.

A short stories collection that consists of four short stories, one of which “Tenshi no Sumu Heya”, which tells a story of a young factory worker living with his “angel” in a harsh environment, at the midst of the industrial revolution of the Great Britain. However reluctant, the young boy had to give up his “angel” for the sake of her health… As time passed by, the boy made himself a rich entrepreneur, and finally a match for his “angel”… but would she recognise him as that young boy, with whom they had once shared their childhood dream together in that small little room…..

5.3 Nations rising

Bronze no Tenshi (ブロンズの天使)
